George Menn, 85, 91 W. Water Street, Beaver Dam, died Friday, April 8, 19 83 at Hillside Hospital.
The funeral service will be Monday at 2 PM at Briese Roedl Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Victor Selle of Milwaukee officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
Mr. Menn was born April 19, 1897 in Norwalk, Wisconsin, the son of Jacob and Ricka (Drier) Menn. He was married to Esther Haase of the Town of Trenton on Dec. 12, 1934.
He lived in the town of Sheldon-Norwalk, Wisconsin in his early life on a farm. He then moved to town of Trenton where he farmed for 43 years, moving to Beaver Dam in 1982. He was a member of the Board of Western Dodge County Coop and the Lakeland Agricultural Coop. He was a representative for the Wisconsin Coop at Luzanne, Switzerland in 1960.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; one sister, Myrtle Taff, Madison; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Briese Roedl Weber Funeral Home on Monday from the hour of 1 PM until the time of service.
