Ida Possin, 81, of 318 E. Brown Street, Waupun, died Wednesday, July 28, at Saint Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

She was born May 21, 1901, at Louis Corners, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Anna Voss Theel. On July 6, 1929, she married Erwin Koepp and they lived in Markesan, and then Waupun, until his death in 1944.

She graduated from Manitowoc County Normal School in 1921, and taught school at Rhine Center, Cedar Grove, Elkhart Lake, rural Waupun and the old South Ward School in Waupun. Later she was a housemother at the Lutheran Children's Home in Wauwatosa. She married Gus E. Possin on December 2, 1949, in Waupun and he preceded her in death in 1975.

She was a member of Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun, the Pella Ladies Aid and the Oak Openings Garden Club.

Surviving are one sister, Hattie Gruett, Milwaukee and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are one stepdaughter, Alice Van Horn, Juneau; two stepsons, Elmer Possin and Chester Possin, Waupun; six step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death were four sisters and two brothers.

Kohls Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. The funeral was at Pella Lutheran Church. The Rev. W. C. Stoehr officiated.

(Gustav Ernest Possin was born on 29 November 1884 in Theresa, WI,^{2 3} died on 14 October 1975 in Waupun, WI ³ and was buried on 17 October 1975 in Burnett, WI ³.). The cause of his death was Acute Bronchopneumonia.
