His obituary was published in the Dodge County Star on 19 January 1933 in Dodge Center, MN.
Charles Kramer was born February 9, 1860, at Lewiston, Minnesota, Winona, and died suddenly at 9:20m on January 9, 1933 at his home near West Concord, at the age of 72 years and 11 months.
The deceased was a resident of Dodge, for over fifty years. Left to mourn his sudden going are two sons, Theodore of Saint Paul, and Arthur of West Concord, with whom he made his home; four brothers and three sisters, Will of New England, North Dakota; Albert of Owatonna, Minnesota; Gustav and Alfred of Hayfield; Mrs. Minnie Brooks of Kasson, Minnesota; Mrs. Juy Frey of Plainview, Minnesota; Mrs. Mary Drury of Paul, together with a host of relatives and friends. He is also survived by two grandchildren.
He was loved and esteemed by his many relatives and a large circle of friends. He was a kind and loving father and a good neighbor.
Funeral services were conduction at Dodge Center, in the M. E. church at 2 o'clock on Friday afternoon. Interment was made in the Riverside cemetery at Dodge Center.
