Donald P. Blake, 40, of Glenville, WV, passed away Feb. 19, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, following a long illness.
He was born Sept. 9, 1964, in Calhoun, a son of the late Lennie and Violet Blake. He was employed at U-Pak of Glenville.
Surviving is a daughter, Joella Broome; two sisters, Madeline Starkey of Grantsville and Patricia Cunningham of Harrisville; three brothers, David Blake of Pine Creek Community, Richard Blake of Grantsville and Michael Blake of Spencer; a friend, Jamie Gerwig of Grantsville; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Blake; and his companion, Gayle Broome.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. Interment will be in the Meadow Lane Cemetery at Glenville. Friends may call from noon-2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
