Edith Amelia Kramer, 95, died Monday evening September 13, 2004, Fairview Nursing Home in Dodge Center. Edith was born June 22, 1909, the daughter of Ulysses and Charlotte (Langford) Langworthy in Ashland Township in Dodge Center. Edith and her twin sister, Ethel, spent the first three months of their lives in an incubator in Minneapolis. Edith was baptized by Reverend H. C. Van Horn in 1919, in the Zumbro River. She graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1927. Edith moved to Dodge Center in 1971, and worked at the Gauerke's Department Store for some time. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church and served as a deaconess there. She began living at Fairview Nursing Home in January 2001. Edith is survived by two sons, Wallace and wife, Donna Kramer, Rochester, MN, Gary and wife, Karen Kramer, San Antonio, TX; one daughter, Vicki Clemenson St. Paul, MN; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter Kramer in 1961, two brothers and 3 sisters. Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center and one hour before the service at the church on Friday. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2004 at the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Dodge Center with Reverend Dale Rood officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center. Blessed be her memory.
