The 1910 US Census for this family is very confusing with the list of children. First, the children are listed out of chronological age order. That would be just a fault of the enumerator. What is the most confusing concerns the name of a possible youngest son named Eddie, born in 1903, and who shows up listed with the family on the 1920 US Census. The 1910 US Census does not show the name of a son, Eddie, but rather a daughter named Etta as well as another twin daughter named Etna or Edna.

It is believed that the twins born in 1903 were actually a boy and girl named Eddie and Edna. Somehow on the 1910 US Census, Eddie became Etta and Edna may have become Etna.
