The deceased will be remembered by many of the INDEX readers, first as a farmer in the Pedee neighborhood, and afterward as a clothing merchant in this place, and very many will be saddened by the news of his death. He leaves a wife and two children, the eldest about 14 years old, to feel the sad misfortune of his loss. He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania June 16, 1826.
