Some researchers show that John Frederick Bauer was married to "Anna Maria" abt 1768 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and they had 4 children born between 1769 and 1775. I don't know if this is the same John Frederick Bauer and Anna Maria might have been a nickname for Maria Agnes/Agnesia Ernsberger. Or perhaps the marriage to Maria Ernsberger did not last long and John Bauer might have been remarried. There just is no documentation to provide a clear cut answer.
