Married in Iowa, their first two children were born there. Sometime between 1908 and 1910, they moved to Grant County, Oklahoma where they appeared in the 1910 census and where there next two children were born. By 1918, they had moved to Kay County, Oklahoma. By 1920 they moved across the country to Prince George's County, Maryland where they remained for the rest of their lives.
