NOTE - The reported age of 30 on this 1850 census was probably incorrect and should have been 21 or 22 with a birth year of about 1828. Her age in the previous 1830 census supports this in that it shows her age being under 5 in 1830 which would provide a birth year between 1826-1829.

Malinda's gravestone is a badly weathered and discolored simple tablet monument of white sandstone. The inscription reads, "Malinda, wife of A. Alloway, Died Jan. 10, 1878, Aged about 50 years".
