The monument is a gray granite with a polished vertical face. The inscription reads "FAST - Abner D. 1872 - 1953; Edna F. 1879 - 1948". Below that it reads "In Civil Service for 33 years". Along the base, it reads "Cleo V. 1896 - 1896; Oscar C. 1897 - 1916".
