"Joshua bowman, son of Philip Casper and Katy Bowman was born in Fayette county, Pennsylvania, March 9, 1787. He came to Ohio when a young man with his parents in 1806. Joshua bowman married Mary Reed of Canfield about 1812. She was born December 15, 1793. They located upon a part of section six, Green township, Columbiana county (now a part of Mahoning county, Ohio). For many years they conducted a tavern. Joshua Bowman died April 16, 1860, aged 73 years. Mary Reed Bowman died September 20, 1883, aged 90 years. They were both buried in a private graveyard in the orchard on their farm. They raised a family of eight children as follows:

⁹ Polly Bowman, aged 93 (sic) years, died at her home in Goshen township, on the 21st of September. She was one of the pioneer residents of Goshen Twp., and leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn her departure.

⁹ Mrs. Mary Bowman, widow of the late Joshua Bowman, died in Goshen township, Mahoning county, Sept. 26, aged 92 (sic) years. She was born in Westmorland county, Pa. In early days when her father transported goods on pack horses, from the east to the first settlers of Canfield, she rode the leader of the team. She was the first white girl in Ellsworth township, and was the first young lady married in Canfield township. Her mother died January 1860, in her 99th year.

NOTE - Because the name on this census is shown as "Joseph", I'm not sure if this was actually Joshua Bowman, the husband. And because the 1850 Census did not provide relationships, it is difficult to discern the exact relationship but Joshua's age should have been about 63 instead of the 43 which is clearly shown on the image. I have no idea who else it could have been with this name and age so I can only assume that it was a gross error on the part of the enumerator in getting the wrong name and the wrong age.
