   Another name for Malinda was "Linnie" Belle Helber.

  General Notes:

A few researchers show her maiden name as Heber instead of Helber. What complicates the fact is that her birth document shows her name as Helbert and the father's name is also spelled as Helbert.

Almost all of the birth documents for her children show her name as Helber. Her first census document in 1880 shows her family's name as Helber. I can find no documents pertaining to her which would show the surname as Heber.

Following the death of her 1st husband, Frederick A. Ruff, who died in 1937, Malinda was remarried to Daniel Ruff whose possible relationship to Frederick Ruff remains unknown. Malinda was buried next to her 1st husband in Lancaster, Fairfield County, Ohio at the Forest Rose Cemetery.
