Married in 1897, it was only 3 years later when Anna was living with her son at the home of her parents, according to the 1900 US Census. Missing from her household was her husband and her 3 year old daughter. It may be possible that Anna and Albert had temporarily separated with Albert taking the infant daughter with him while Anna took the infant son and moved back with her parents. There may be other reasons unknown.
By 1910, the family was all together again but living in Saint Louis, Missouri. By 1920, the entire family had relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota where they spent the rest of their lives.
