  General Notes:

Otto Ray Lightfoot gave several different dates for his birthday. The earliest and first census gave his age as 5 by his parents for the 1880 census equating to a birth year of 1875. Usually, this earliest census record tends to be the most accurate.

A birth year of 1876 was supported by his marriage record to Thursa A. Kollar. A date of Jan 1876 was supported by the 1900 census record and also by the 1894 Michigan State Census.

The date of 27 Jan 1877 was supported by the 1910, 1920, and 1930 census records.

A date of 27 Jan 1879 was supported by his signed World War II Draft Registration Card.

A birth year of 1880 was supported by the 1940 census record.

I suspect that the 1876 birth year is probably the correct one otherwise the 1875 or 1877 years are in conflict with his older sister, Alice, or his younger brother, Gaylord.

His gravestone indicates 1877 but as previously stated, that would conflict with the birth year for his brother, Gaylord. For some unknown reason, both Otto Ray and Gaylord were overstating their ages by about 5 years. When each died, their surviving family members had been persuaded about the overstated birth years and the gravestone for each shows the incorrect birth year.
