Shirley Ann Augustein, 68, of Alliance, died Monday at her home. Born March 19, 1937, she lived in the Alliance area most of her life.

Mrs. Augustein was a member of the Ladies of the Amaranth of the Masonic Temple and the Tri-County UFO Study Group.

Survivors include two sons, Ernie (Karen) Augustein of Kansas and Rocky (Carol) Augustein of Germany; three daughters, Susan (Rick) Sebrell of Boardman, Ruthie Augustein who resided with her mom in Alliance, and Doris Augustein of West Virginia; a brother, Herbert (Helen) Aeling of Minerva; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Clement Augustein in 1991; two sons, Paul William Augusteing in 1971 and a son who died in infancy; her parents, Otha William and Ruth Ernestine (Donahue) Aeling; and two brothers, Delbert and Leonard Aeling.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at her home for family and close friends. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.

Shirley married Paul Clement Augustein, son of Clement Peter Augustein and Violet Mae Durm, on 11 December 1952.¹ (Paul Clement Augustein was born on 16 April 1934 in Canton, OH ^{1 2} and died on 5 January 1991 in Cleveland, OH ^{1 2}.)
