Audy D. Hathaway, 82, of Grantsville, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 1997, at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

He was born in Calhoun, a son of the late Curtis and Hattie Bennett Hathaway. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in Germany. He was a former auto mechanic and truck driver and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Amy Powell Hathaway of Grantsville; one son, Larry Hathaway of Clarksburg; three sisters, Pearl Van Horn and Churl Scott, both of Big Springs, and Dixie Gregg of Warwick, Ohio; two brothers, Darrell Hathaway of Parkersburg and Charles Hathaway of Weston; and three grand children.

Services were scheduled Wednesday, 2 PM, at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Glendon McKee officiating, and burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
