Age 84. Passed away July 10, 1969 at the Ridgewood Osteopathic Hospital. He was born June 2, 1885 in Van Buren Township near Belleville, the eldest son of Robert and Mary Warren Renton. He married Jessie Josephine Buxton on June 30, 1910 in Milan. Mr. Renton was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Phoenix Lodge No. 13 F&AM. Surviving are his wife, Jessie; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Louise) Peck of Dearborn, Miss Ruth M. Renton, at home; one sister, Mrs. F. R. (Elsie) Wolfe of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, R. Lawrence Renton of Dearborn; several nieces and nephews. Preceding Mr. Renton in death were two sons, Roy Warren in 1947 and Herert Boyd in infancy in 1922; one sister, Mrs. Earl (Mary) Willoughby; two brothers, Roy D. and Merle G. Renton. Funeral services will be held on 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. William R. Shaw, Minister Emeritus, officiating.
